You can upload payment cards to your online profile on GreenShield Pharmacy. Insurance plans on file are used to adjudicate (check and pay for all or a portion) your medications before the total owning is calculated. The remaining amount is called a co-pay. This is the amount you pay, after insurance is applied, for you prescriptions.
You will be charged after the Pharmacy team has submitted your order through insurance, and after packaging your medications.
Many pharmacy services are free or covered by your provincial health card. Some services are paid out of pocket (not by insurance) and will be charged at the time of service.
Costs vary depending on your prescriptions, your insurance coverage, and your co-pay. You may have no remaining co-pay on your orders, and not be charged. Services paid out of pocket are priced as stated on our online portal. Shipping is free with any prescription. Shipping for non-prescription health essentials is free for orders over $50.
