Pause a prescription

You can pause a prescription when you don't need your medication for a short time. For example, this may apply if you are going on vacation, or if your physician recommends a pause in your treatment.

Instructions for the mobile app

1. Select Care, then select Pharmacy and Prescriptions.

2. Select the Profile of the person for whom you want to pause a prescription.

3. Select the relevant prescription, then select Manage Prescription.

4. On the Manage Prescription screen, select Pause prescription.

5. Select the Reason why you want to pause the prescription, then indicate the Date on which you would like to resume it, if applicable.

6. Select Pause Prescription to confirm.

Instructions for the web app

1. On the Navigation bar, select Care services and then Pharmacy, then select Pharmacy.

2. On the Pharmacy Dashboard, select Manage Prescriptions.

3. Navigate to the name of the person for whom you want to pause a prescription and select View Prescriptions.

4. Locate the relevant prescription, then select View Details and Manage Prescription.

5. On the Manage Prescription screen, select Pause Prescription.

6. Select the Reason why you want to pause the prescription, then indicate the Date on which you would like to resume it, if applicable.

7. Select Pause Prescription to confirm.
