Though some medical issues can be treated online and others cannot, some will be up to the provider’s discretion as to what they believe can be safely addressed online as per their college guidelines for offering care through telemedicine.
Every on-demand request is reviewed by multiple healthcare providers before it’s declined. If a visit is canceled, we invite you to try your submission once more at a different time of day to give as many doctors as possible the chance to respond. To avoid ambiguous requests, it may help to adjust the request wording or uploading relevant health information such as past prescriptions or records.
Please also be sure to be as clear and detailed as possible about your medical issue and needs when filling out the request. If it still doesn't get accepted, it's possible that this issue cannot be safely addressed through online care.
If a provider has advised you to seek out in-person care, it will be up to you to follow-up with a provider outside of the Telemedicine application at a health care facility of your choice.
