The first time you access GreenShield Pharmacy you will be invited to register.

On the
Care screen, select
Pharmacy, and then select Pharmacy.

Enter your Personal Details.

If you are a resident of Alberta, British Columbia, the Northwest Territories or Yukon, you will need to upload a government-issued ID for identification purposes.

If other Required details are missing from your existing account information, you will be prompted to add them.

Select Continue to create your GreenShield Pharmacy account.

Once redirected to the Pharmacy Dashboard, you can add a prescription, book a consultation, etc.

On the Navigation Bar, select Care Services and then Pharmacy, and then select Pharmacy.

On the registration page, enter your Preferred name (optional) and your Biological sex, then select Create Account.

Your biological sex is the sex you were assigned at birth. Medical professionals, including pharmacists, collect this information for the sole purpose of making informed medical decisions regarding your healthcare, treatments, and medications. If you have specified your gender in your sparrow profile, it will be stored separately from your biological sex.

On the Shipping Address screen, enter the address to which you would like to receive your medication, then select Save and Continue.

On the Payment Method screen, enter your credit card information and your billing address, then select Save and Continue.

You may skip this step for now, however you will need to add a payment method to your account before you can request a prescription refill.

On the Provincial Health Card screen, select whether you have a health card, then select Save and Continue.

If you select I have a health card, you will need to enter your health card details before continuing.

If you select I will add my health card information later, you will be able to request a prescription refill immediately, however you may be charged for medications that are covered by your provincial drug plan.

On the Add Insurance screen, review your existing insurance policies and add new ones as required. Then, select Save and Continue.
