It’s important to set up your computer in a quiet, well lit space. Consider what is in the background, and how the natural lighting will affect how clearly your counsellor can see you throughout the appointment.
Try testing out the video conferencing platform in advance of your first appointment. This provides you with an opportunity to iron out any technical difficulties ahead of the appointment. If you have technical difficulties during your call, there is a toll-free phone number provided on your appointment screen that you can call to connect with your counsellor.
