Join a video appointment

If you encounter technical difficulties during or after your appointment, you can contact our support team through email at [e-mail].

Instructions for the mobile app

1. On the  Care screen, navigate to Mental Health and then Counselling.

2. On the Counselling Overview screen, select Appointments.

3. In the Upcoming section, find the appointment you would like to join and select Join.

4. You will be asked a few Pre-Session Assessment questions before you join your appointment. Navigate through the questions by selecting Next.

5. When you have completed the Pre-Session Assessment, ensure you are in a comfortable and quiet space and select Join session.

When the appointment is over, select Leave. You'll be asked to rate your appointment based on a number of criteria. Once you have done that, you can head back to the Counselling Overview screen or Book a Follow-up Session.

End the session	Select Leave.

Instructions for the web app

1. On the Navigation Bar, select Care Services and then Mental Health and then Counselling.

2. On the Counselling dashboard, select My Appointments.

3. In the Upcoming section, navigate to the appointment your are trying to join, and select Join Session.

4. You will be asked a few Pre-Session Assessment questions before you join your appointment. Navigate through the questions by selecting Next.

5. When you have complete the Pre-Session Assessment, ensure you are in a comfortable and quiet space and select Join session.

When the appointment is over, select Complete Session. You'll be asked to rate your appointment based on a number of criteria. Once you have done that, you can head back to the Counselling dashboard or Book a Follow-up Session.

When you are in an appointment there are many things you can do.

To	Do
Mute yourself	Select the Microphone icon.
Turn off video	Select the Camera icon.
Send a message	Select the Chat icon. Type your message in the message field and select Send.
Add notes	Select the Notes icon. Type any notes you have for yourself about the session.
Get the back up phone number	Select the Settings icon. Call the number that is provided for your unique, private connection to your counsellor.
Reconnect to the session	Select Reconnect.
End the session	Select Complete Session.
