For privacy reasons, when you join a voice appointment, your counsellor does not call your phone directly. You must both dial in to the phone number and enter the unique PIN that appears on the The Counselling App screen.
If you encounter technical difficulties during a scheduled video appointment, you can also find the toll-free number for your appointment in the Settings section of the appointment screen when you join a video appointment.
Please note that this number is only free of charge if you are calling within North America.

On the
Care screen, navigate to
Mental Health and then Counselling.

On the Counselling Overview screen, navigate to Appointments and find the appointment you would like to join.

Select Join Session.

If you have not provided your details yet, you will be asked to verify your phone number, enter your emergency contact and signify your informed consent.

If you are a minor, you will also be asked to enter information about your parent or guardian.

Complete the Pre-Session Assessment and select Complete.

On the Navigation Bar, select Care Services, then select
Mental Health and Counselling.

On the
Counselling dashboard, navigate to
My Appointments and select Join via Toll-Free Number.

Complete the Pre-Session Assessment and select Complete.

On your phone, dial the provided number and enter the unique PIN to join your appointment.
