Most pharmacists on GreenShield Pharmacy offer their consultation services in English. If you are more comfortable speaking in a different language, interpretation and translation services are available to you.
You can invite an English-speaking family member or friend to attend the appointment with you. To do so, once you have picked a date and time in the appointment booking flow, select Add guests and enter the email address of the person you want to invite.
If inviting someone to your appointment is not possible, GreenShield Pharmacy offers translation services for phone and video appointments. Once you have joined your appointment, let your pharmacist know in which language you wish to communicate, and they will send a request for translation services. An interpreter will connect to the appointment after a few minutes.
All translations are carried out by a team of interpreters specialized in healthcare who ensure that your medical information remains strictly confidential. This service is available at no additional cost in almost all languages, including ASL.
Lastly, closed captioning services are available in the language of your choice for all video appointments in the GreenShield Pharmacy app. However, please note that those captions are automatically generated and may not be 100% accurate.
